Vandagraph takes your privacy seriously. The vandagraph team members are
customers themselves of other Internet sites and fully appreciate and respect
the importance of privacy on the Internet.
1.0 Your personal information and consent
Any information we collect from you will be used in accordance with the Data
Protection Act 1998 and BS7799, the Information Security Management System
We will not disclose any information about our customers, such as name, address
or e-mail address to third parties except where it is a necessary part of
providing a service to you - e.g. arranging for a product to be sent to you. If
you have purchased from our website we may occasionally update you on news, new
products and special offers via e-mail, post or telephone, only if you have
given us permission to do so.
1.1 Checking your details
If you wish to verify/correct the details you have submitted to vandagraph Ltd you
can do so at any time by logging in and going to ‘My Account’ or by contacting
us via the e-mail, telephone or post. Our security procedures mean that we may
request proof of identity before we reveal information. This proof of identity
will take the form of your username and your password reminder question
submitted upon registration. We would strongly recommend that you do not use
the browser's password memory function as that would permit other people using
your terminal to access your personal information.
2.0 Site security
Vandagraph limits the amount of information it hold by using the PayPal Payment system.
2.1 Paying through a credit / debit card
Payments made on-line by credit or debit card are handled on behalf of vandagraph
through PayPal payment service. vandagraph does not receive your card details.
PayPal use SSL (Secure Server Layer) Web Server Certificates to offer secure
communications by encrypting all data to and from our website. This ensures the
privacy of your card details during transmission. The security of the website
can be confirmed by the presence of the padlock icon ()
in the lower right hand corner of your browser or by looking at the address of
the website. If the address starts with https://... instead of http://..., then
the security of the website can be confirmed.
2.2 Paying through your account
Some of our customers can pay through an online account, whereby an invoice for
the items will be sent to the confirmed purchasing department. Because fraud is
an issue with online trading it is important that invoice and delivery
addresses match our information that we hold about your business. We perform
various checks to ensure that delivery addresses for our customers are
confirmed prior to setting up your online account.
4.0 Contacting us
We are always pleased to hear from our customers. We are always grateful for
any time you spend providing us with the knowledge we need to ensure our
customers are completely satisfied - we want you to return to the site and
recommend us to your colleagues. If you have any questions or feedback
regarding our website and anything stored on it or our products and service
please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be delighted to answer any
